A year ago today, I started my blog. Since I’ve started my blog I’ve been invited to events, featured on websites, and even have a collaboration with Shop Zorie’s and working with Head to Toe magazine. Being a fashion blogger and working full time, gets hard sometimes but I feel like I’ve been managing both pretty well. I couldn’t be more proud of how much my style has changed and how I’ve grown.

I would like to send a special Thank You to my friend, Taylor, she has really made this all possible. From the making of the website and shooting my outfits for me, she never disappoints. Also, another special Thank You to my hairstylist and make up artist, Ayanna, for always slaying my hair and make up. My family and friends, you all have a special place in my heart for always supporting me.

Stay tuned and see what Paige Alexis accomplishes next (;

I’ve never really been a fan of printed tops or pants, let’s just say prints in general. Oh gosh if the print was floral, I wouldn’t even go near it. I just stayed away from anything with some type of print. Don’t ask me why I hated prints because I really don’t know. Flowers aren’t really my cup of tea, I guess you would say and because of that I just stayed away with anything with a flower(s) on it. Until, now…

Being a fashion blogger, my style has definitely changed in more ways then one. I, also, feel that when you’re a fashion blogger you have to be willing to at least try different things even if that means trying an item that you wouldn’t normally wear.

On my day off a week and half ago, I was actually browsing the internet to try to spark my brain for my next blog post idea. While I browsing, I found myself on H&M’s website and you guys already know what happened next. I bought new clothes; I purchased an off-white pair of denim jeans and this off-the shoulder top. When I first saw this top I didn’t think I was going to like it because it was a print and the print was floral. I knew I had to try it though because I didn’t want to be one of those people who see an item and then regret not buying it three days later. As soon as it came in the mail, I tried it on and instantly fell in love. It zippers in the back with button at the top and on each arm is a ruffled sleeve. In the middle of the top, the fabric gathers together. I paired it with my silver, metallic skirt from TopShop, Navy heels from Steve Madden, and I accessorized with my jewelry from Cheap Luck Co.

Working in a mall has its perks sometimes and on this day, it had a great outcome. On my break, I decided to walk around and see what new stuff stores got in or if I could find a steal on the sales racks. I usually hit a few stores, but the two I go to all the time are H&M and Urban Outfitters. I walked into Urban Outfitters, looked around a few times and didn’t find anything. It was when I was walking out that I found these camouflage pants hanging on a rack. They only had large sizes and I knew that wasn’t going to work for me. I checked my Urban App to see if they had them and they did, but had to pre-order them. I was a little bummed out because of how bad I wanted them. I waited a few days and checked my app again and what do you know they were available! I purchased them as soon as I could.

Dressing down camouflage pants is all about being comfy and casual. I paired my camouflage pants with an off-white, long sleeve crop top from Urban Outfitters and layered it with a black leather top from H&M, and wore my all white Louis Women’s Flat Louboutins. I, also accessorized with an H&M belt and choker.

Dressing It Up: For this outfit, I decided to keep the same accessories, but made a few other adjustments. I changed my top for a long sleeve, black, ruffled top from H&M and layered it with my grey vest from Trouve. I switched out my sneakers for these black, patent leather booties from H&M.

Let me know which outfit is your favorite (;
