Buttoned-Up

After the Fall/Winter 2017-’18 fashion shows, we are gearing up to prepare ourselves for the upcoming trends of the season. This Fall season, we have so many trends that we can expect according to Elle magazine such as vintage inspired furs, Victorian collars, couch florals and buttons to name a few.

One trend that really stood out to me is buttoned-up, because this past season we saw how everything was focused around lace. It didn’t matter if it was a shoe or an article of clothing it had lace. This fall season, fashion is all about buttons! Yeah, I know what you’re thinking buttons can be a lot sometimes, but they definitely give a piece of clothing a different look. Since all the fashion shows were all about pants and shirts having buttons, I decided to focus on my shoes…well boots in particular.

Listen, I’ve always been in love with thigh high boots, but can’t wear them because of my height. It sucks. I finally found a boot that hugs my leg perfectly and just gives my outfit a new spin on things. It’s a Louboutin, you already know haha and it’s called the “Fabiloa.” It’s alos, a knee-high boot, which works for me. Now let’s focus on the buttons: they start at the bottom of the boot and go to the top. The color of the buttons are cream, brown, and hit of black and they’re kind of swirled together, which give the boot a cool look. These boots are easy to put on and take off, just button-up and go! simple as that.

I styled my boots with a black skirt and basic white tee from H&M, and topped it off with my new velvet toggle jacket from Zara. This outfit can take you from the office to grabbing a quick drink with a friend.  You really can’t go wrong with it. Let me know what you think (;
